CREW Miami’s (Commercial Real Estate Women) Zoom program, “The Women Who Built Miami” was held on Wednesday, September 23rd.
In the spirit of the 100 year anniversary of women’s suffrage, CREW Miami shared a brief history of Miami’s pioneering women and the importance of diversity and inclusion still needed today. Panelists discussed how women leaders in CRE continue to play a vital role in building Miami.
“The Women’s Suffrage movement was historical and significant. It led to the 19th Amendment and the right of women to vote,” comments Alicia Morales-Fernandez, CREW Miami’s President and a Real Estate Partner at Rennert Vogel, Mandler & Rodriguez, P.A. “That movement towards greater diversity, equality and inclusion continues today. CREW Miami, as one of the leading commercial real estate organizations of the community, continues to promote the women’s movement and DEI through its mission—to empower women to develop and become leaders through education, mentoring and networking.”
