100+ Women Who Care is a group of women who gather four times a year for a one-hour meeting, to learn about local grass roots charities and each donate $100 to a charity voted on by the members. This combined donation of $10,000 makes a real impact, without time-consuming fundraising events and planning.

There are several chapters throughout South Florida but the newest chapter is in Miami Beach.   It was founded by local women including Terri Echarte, Dara Schoenwald, Kim Rodstein, Susan Askew, Mirielle Enlow and Anike Sakariyawo to help bring awareness to local grassroots charities and provide a platform where philanthropic women can gather, network and give.

At it’s innaugural meeting in January the first reward receipent was The Sabrina Cohen Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to developing adaptive fitness and recreational programs that provide a better quality of life for individuals living with paralysis and various disabilities.  Upon being announced the winner Sabrina said,   “I’m super impressed with the mission of 100+ Women and their dedication to support nonprofit organizations that truly make an impact on the South Florida community. I look forward to putting the funds my organization just won to good use and look forward to supporting other organizations as a newfound member of the group!”

The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is also represented in the group by Chairman of the Board, Robin Jacobs.
