ONE MIRAMAR is a view I have long amplified of the City’s multicultural aspect of people living working and playing together as ONE.
ONE MIRAMAR speaks to equity in services that we provide to all of our residents.
Our diversity and our unifying characteristics
To celebrate the City of Miramar’s 66th Birthday an Art Contest was held.
Miramar students were invited to create a poster depicting One Miramar – Celebrating the multicultural diversity, drive and community spirit that bonds us together.
We are pleased to have had the support of Coconut Palm Elementary, Sunset Lakes Elementary with 11 submissions, and Somerset Preparatory Middle and High Schools with 14 submissions.
Sixteen of the posters are currently displayed in the Miramar’s Cultural Center lobby and will also be displayed on utility boxes throughout Miramar.
These students were recognized at our recent Commission Meeting for their beautiful and thoughtful artwork depicting ONE Miramar.
