Village's Earth Day Art Contest open to middle school studentsThe Village of Palmetto Bay’s annual Earth Day Art Contest for middle school students is back, and now is the time to enter.

The submission period is open but ends on Feb. 25. Students currently attending a Palmetto Bay middle school (grades 6-8) are invited to participate.

The Earth Day 2022 theme is “Invest In Our Planet.” The Earth Day organization explains the theme in this way:

“This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, our livelihoods… together, we must Invest In Our Planet.

It’s going to take all of us. All in. Businesses, governments, and citizens — everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable. A partnership for the planet.”

For more details on the theme go to www.earthday.org/earth-day-2022/. To register and submit artwork go to: https://form.123formbuilder.com/6065386/
