PAWS4you, a Miami-based non-profit animal rescue organization, partnered with Chopard to celebrate its annual gala fundraiser “Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again!” at the JW Marriott Miami on Friday, Feb. 25.
A spectacular live performance by ABBA Revisited was part of the festivities. PAWS4you’s annual gala raised funds to assist the organization’s goal of continuing to save dogs and cats in South Florida as well as to renovate the facilities where the animals are cared for and nurtured back to health.
Paws4you’s chairs, Ann Rubino and Kathy Cowan, as well as this year’s chair and honoree member, Eve Kowalski, have truly elevated this gala to the point where it has become one of the most anticipated fundraising events for internationally renowned brand names, celebrities, and Miami elites to participate.
“This year’s fundraiser helped raise funds to update the facilities where we care for our rescues, while continuing our mission to save the lives of so many dogs and cats in South Florida,” said Carol Caridad, founder and executive director of PAWS4you. “We are truly thankful to our dedicated committee members and our sponsors and that have helped take this annual gala to the next level and for their continued commitment to saving lives of countless animals.”
The event started at 7 p.m. with guests arriving in their funky ’70s attire. The grand gala had an elegant sparkling display with an exquisite dinner. Emmy award-winning journalist and TV news anchor Cynthia Demos served as the events emcee as she kept the audience members engaged and enthusiastic. The event also had an exciting exclusive auction hosted by celebrity auctioneer John Curley. ABBA Revisited put on a dazzling concert for all to enjoy and had attendees dancing and grooving all night.
With the help of Chopard, and the Gala Committee contributors, PAWS4you raised funds to further its mission in animal rescue, and thanks to the contributions of its sponsors, it was a night to remember.
