Miami welcomed a special guest on May, 9th to the Banquet Hall of Evelyn Greer Park, Pinecrest by the name of Governor Ron DeSantis. Councilmembers, mayors, business owners, and ordinary citizens alike were all in attendance at the luncheon, numbering more than 275 altogether. It was clear that the hall was ecstatic when Governor DeSantis entered the building, a testament to his charisma and character as the executive in chief of our state. Many expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the governor’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and his policies towards education and the environment, increasing state protections and funding in many aspects for Florida and the city of Miami. Community Newspapers is proud to host Governor Ron DeSantis as a guest speaker and the honored guests that joined us for this spectacular luncheon event.
