Kevin Marino Cabrera has announced that he has received the endorsement of chairman Daniel Perez, future Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives (2024-26), in the race for Miami-Dade County Commission District Six.
“I am proud to endorse Kevin Marino Cabrera for the Miami-Dade County Commission, District Six seat,” Perez said. “District Six residents deserve bold, fresh leadership that will fight to tackle the problems that matter most — inflation and the cost of living, and housing affordability. Kevin is a fighter, who will be a great partner and a strong advocate for the residents of Miami-Dade in Tallahassee.”
“Miami-Dade has great a great advocate in Tallahassee in Chairman Perez, and I want to thank him for his friendship and support,” Kevin said. “I look forward to working with him to find solutions to the challenges facing the residents of District Six, both at the local and state levels. As we continue campaigning across the district, I look forward to earning the support and vote of my fellow residents.”
Perez joins former President Donald J. Trump; U.S. Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27), and Chief Jimmy Patronis, State’s Fire Marshall and Chief Financial Officer, in endorsing Kevin for the open seat in District Six of the Miami-Dade County Commission.
District Six includes the cities of Virginia Gardens, Miami Springs and West Miami, parts of the cities of Miami, Coral Gables and Hialeah, as well as sections of unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
A Miami native, Kevin currently works in public relations. A graduate of Florida International University and Miami-Dade College, he is married to Demi Busatta Cabrera.
They reside in Coral Gables.
