The new Hyundai Elantra N line is a sporty, efficient vehicle with great design.

The sedan sells for $24,350 and gets 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 on the highway. That comes from a 201 horsepower, 1.6-liter turbo GDI 4-cylinder engine.

Overall, the attention to detail is fantastic. Inside you get the N line design leather-wrapped steering wheel. The N line branding extends to the leather wrapped shift knob and the sport seats, which carry the N brand at the top. That’s in addition to the front fascia, which also has the N line branding very clearly displayed.

Innovation is key to the Elantra’s appeal including the largest available touchscreen in its class at 10.25 inches, wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You can also place your Qi-compatible device on the available charging pad to power up without cords or clutter.

Here is an interesting feature that is available to the Elantra that really caught my eye. You can bring together the available hi-res 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation, the largest screen in its class, with an available 10.25-inch, fully digital instrument cluster in a single integrated panel. It looks great and lets you focus on driving.

The Hyundai Elantra has a digital key that can be stored on your mobile phone. The great thing you can do with this is send digital copies of your key to family and friends, which means no more misplacing keys for anyone.

Outside, the Hyundai Elantra N line’s focus on sporty details is clear. In addition to the 18-inch alloy wheels, the Hyundai Elantra N line also comes with a chrome, twin-tip exhaust, which makes it distinct.

The Elantra is also an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) top safety pick for the last 12 consecutive years, which makes sense considering all the great safety features it has. These include smart cruise control, a blind-spot collision avoidance technology, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection and parking collision-avoidance assist, which helps a lot when parking in reverse.

At the end of the day, the Hyundai Elantra N line’s combination of design, comfort and innovative technology makes a strong case for this amazing sedan.
