Executive Fantasy Hotels matches donations to Survivors’ Pathway
Executive Fantasy Hotels made a second donation of $10,000 to Miami-based Survivors’ Pathway, matching the funds raised during a special social media campaign, in partnership with Lifestyle Miami.

Executive Fantasy Hotels, founded by the Del Rey family 43 years ago in South Florida and still being run as a family business, recently made a second donation of $10,000 to Miami-based Survivors’ Pathway, matching the funds raised during a special social media campaign, in partnership with the social media page Lifestyle Miami, for a donation total of $19,000.

This donation follows an additional $10,000 donated to the non-profit organization, which provides support to survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking.

“We are a family business, and since we opened our first hotel in 1979 in Miami, our top priority has always been to keep our community safe and contribute to efforts to fight against human trafficking,” said Julio Del Rey, owner and manager of Executive Fantasy Hotels. “This donation to Survivors’ Pathway follows our previous donations and continues to solidify our partnership to aid in the great work this organization does in our community, helping the victims of human trafficking and domestic and sexual abuse. It is an honor for us to be able to contribute to their commendable efforts.”

The Del Rey donations to Survivors’ Pathway will be designated to be used to pay for temporary housing for victims.

“The generous donations from the Del Rey family and Executive Fantasy Hotels come at a time of great need for the victims of human trafficking, domestic and sexual abuse in our community,” said Francesco Duberli, CEO of Survivors’ Pathway. “With skyrocketing housing and hotel costs, our funds have been hit hard and these funds bring great relief to our organization so we can help more victims.”

This latest donation from the Del Rey family is part of a larger strategy to combat human trafficking, domestic and sexual violence in the community. As part of the efforts, the hotel group, with over 200 employees, partnered with One Love, a national non-profit that fights against human trafficking, several years ago to create a training program for its employees, even before it was required by Florida law.

Since implementing the program in 2018, employees from the 13 South Florida locations have received in-person training from nationally recognized instructors on how to spot human trafficking and contact the authorities.

Executive also has worked hand-in-hand with local governments to craft meaningful legislation to help curb human-trafficking, prostitution and any other crimes in South Florida hotels. Executive keeps an open line of communication with law enforcement and often offers assistance for special operations. In fact, the company and the family have received many commendation letters from various police departments thanking them for their assistance with special operations throughout the years.

Survivors Pathway provides needed support to survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and multiple types of victimization. Donations help support financial assistance programs to those with extreme financial hardship and domestic abuse victims. They work with individuals of all backgrounds, races and ethnicities, gender, and ages, to provide them with mental health counseling services and aid in their pursuit of justice.
