On Friday, October 28, 2022 dozens of families attended the City’s annual Halloween Spooktacular event, held at McTyre Park, 3501 SW 56 Avenue, West Park, at 6 p.m. This event allowed families and children from the community to trick or treat in a safe environment and enjoy loads of candy, a lively costume contest, fun and games on the new playground, and spooky trunk or treat decorations. The park was buzzing with activity, and children of all ages were in attendance.
Prizes were given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners along with 11 other participants in the costume contest! City officials, staff, local partners, and volunteers from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Police and Fire Departments were also in attendance to help pass out candy and assist with games and activities.
