loons were displayed all around City Hall and in the Commission Chamber, in recognition of October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. City Commission members, Staff and members of the public wore pink to the Commission Meeting at 7 p.m., and pink desserts were provided. Our police department also displayed its pink vehicle for the occasion! A pink ribbon may be worn to honor those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and/or to remember the survivors.
