Brooke Friedman-Meltzer is a successful Licensed Interior Designer who has balanced raising triplets – not an easy feat – while running Brooke J Interior Design all on her own. Brooke was recently featured in A&E’s Move or Improve show (https://play.aetv.com/shows/move-or-improve/season-1/episode-14), where she showcased her innovative design ideas by proposing to turn an open-air gazebo into a beautiful home office, among other improvements in the featured house, that were selected by the homeowners.
As a renowned interior designer with national certification from the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ), Brooke is committed to creating interiors that impress. Her goal is to help each client fall in love with their revamped or new space. She was born and raised in the Aventura area and has maintained deep ties within South Florida, where she has completed dozens of multimillion-dollar projects.
She has designed many commercial facilities, including notable restaurant and bar spaces as well as unique projects such as student housing and the Rio Vista Youth Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Brooke also understands that remodeling a residential space can create major stress for families, but that the transformation is worth the wait. She goes above and beyond to minimize this stress by getting to know her clients and working with them every step of the way. Whether proposing to knock down walls to create open spaces or finding creative ways to increase a home’s square footage, her passion is driven by seeing people enjoy – live and work – in the finished product.
“I am committed to designing spaces that match my clients’ lifestyles,” she said. “Beyond accommodating aesthetic needs, I am focused on meeting the functional needs of each distinctive project.”
