Coral Gables resident and Coldwell Banker Realtor Alec DeTournay has joined the board of directors of the Coral Gables Neighbors Association (formerly known as Riviera Neighborhood Association).
“As a Realtor, my job is to do my best to provide my clients with the satisfaction of home ownership,” Alec DeTournay said. “Being a board member of Coral Gables Neighbors Association enables me to have my finger on the pulse of Coral Gables, which allows me to be both an advocate and provider of information for Gables residents.”
Coral Gables Neighbors Association provides news on city meetings and events, and advocates for the residents of the City Beautiful.
“Coral Gables is experiencing a huge surge of new residents, many of whom are unsure where to get accurate information. I see my role as a provider of that information, in addition to my career as a Realtor.”
DeTournay brings the qualities of enthusiasm, energy and a gregarious personality to work each day, say his colleagues and clients. Miami’s red-hot housing market has created a competitive work environment for Realtors, and Alec recognizes that going the extra mile for clients is no longer the exception, but the rule.
“To me, a Realtor must be a trusted source of information on a variety of topics ranging from how to prepare for a hurricane to recommendations on a pool cleaner,” DeTournay said. “One must earn a client’s trust through honesty, hard work and creative thinking. And once a transaction is complete, I always stay in touch, for my client has now become a friend as well.”
DeTournay is bilingual and is a member of the Miami Association of Realtors.
Alec DeTournay is based out of Coldwell Banker’s Coral Gables office at 4000 Ponce de Leon Blvd. He can be reached at 786-514-5485 and his website is found at http://www.miamirealestatelifestyle.com/.
