The Health Channel Women’s Health Fair will be the first Health Channel Health Fair of this kind with the intention of being done every year. It will be an event that brings together women in Miami-Dade County with different workshops that surround women’s health milestones such as menstruation, pregnancy, menopause and emotional health. Women will be able to interact with 33 different health and medical experts at booths that will focus on resources in the health space such as lactation, CPR, and on-site screenings.
It will take place on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Miami-Dade College West Campus – 3rd Floor – 3800 NW 115th Ave, Doral, FL 33178.
This fun, free, educational event is open to all women in the South Florida area. Bring along the kids and have them enjoy the kid’s health corner with a special visit from Clifford the Big Red Dog and Miss Penny from KidVision Pre-K.
The first 100 women to RSVP on Eventbrite and attend the event will receive a Health Channel goodie bag filled with different health items.
Different raffles will be conducted every hour throughout the four hour period of the event. These raffles include gift certificates to local spas, four sessions to a Pilates class, $100 Publix grocery shopping spree, massage therapy sessions, and that’s just the start.
