To celebrate FINANCIAL LITERACY MONTH during April 2023, the BBA put together an essay writing contest to raise financial education awareness in our high schools. We requested essay submissions from public high school students in Miami-Dade on WHAT IS THE GREATEST OBSTACLE YOU FACE IN CREATING AND MAINTAINING A BALANCED BUDGET? These two high school students wrote impressive essays, causing a tie! Bravo!
The BBA will host a ceremony for the winners and their parents, teachers, classmates, and all others who want to join in the celebration.
The event will be presided by the Hon. Laurel Isicoff, Chief Judge, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. The details are as follow:
