Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

For those looking for an electric vehicle with style, the Hyundai Kona is the vehicle for you.
The gas models range in price from $28,000 to $29,000 respectively with the N Line and Limited both delivering 29 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway. Both have a 195 horsepower, 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI 4-cylinder engine.
The all-electric 2023 Hyundai Kona sells for a starting price of $33,550 and has an estimated 258 miles of range. The 201 horsepower engine is quick and overall performance is excellent. It’s no wonder that the Hispanic Motor Press honored the 2023 Hyundai Kona and Kona electric as their City Car of the Year.
Inside the cabin you get the Harmon Kardon premium audio system, which sounds great, a heated steering wheel and leather-trimmed seats.
I like the simplicity of the interior. Everything is easy to use. It’s very practical and modern.
You can wirelessly connect your iPhone with Apple CarPlay and access your favorite apps from Kona Electric’s standard eight-inch touchscreen. Users of Android phones can use AutoTM to access mobile apps, maps and infotainment features. There also is an available 10.25-inch touchscreen, which offers plug-in navigation.
I like the styling and lines in the SUV’s front, which is consistent and clear to the rear. The front lights have a modern flair, which provides a very comprehensive design to the Hyundai Kona electric.
The charger is in the front of the vehicle, which makes it easy to charge at any location.
The door for the charger is also part of the design for the front facia, which makes it look innovative.
I like the innovation in the Hyundai Digital Key, which works on your mobile phone. With a compatible Android phone, you can unlock doors, start the Kona and share the key with family, so you will never lose your key again. That’s a nice feature.
This is a great detail about Hyundai that everyone can appreciate. Every new 2023 Hyundai gets factory scheduled maintenance at normal intervals for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. That is fantastic.
I really enjoyed driving the Hyundai Kona electric SUV and hope you give it a drive.
