Miami-Dade County Fair will returns to South Florida with its new “Extreme Opening Weekend” featuring live MMA matches in boxing and wrestling, entertainment for 18 days of rides, food and fun for the family.
The opening weekend kicks off with The Fair’s first-ever long distance skateboard race on March 15 at 10:15 a.m. In conjunction with the USA Distance Skateboarding Association, The Fai will host both a one-mile and three-mile skateboard races at the Coral Way/FIU grounds.
Extreme entertainment continues into the evening at 7 p.m. with a MMA World Champions match, featuring MMA star “Cyborg.” At 9 p.m., fairgoers will be treated to a live concert by Latin Grammy Award winner “Sie7e” on stage, singing smash hits that include “Tengo Tu Love.” Opening Day admission is $5 per guest. Youngsters under five are admitted free each day of The Fair.
During its history, The Fair has donated more than $8 million in scholarships, awards and cash premiums.
