Celebrate Halloween with the Spooky Symphony on Oct. 29
Many musicians and audience members will come in costume to enhance the Halloween experience.

Get into the Halloween spirit with the Spooky Symphony concert on Sunday, Oct. 29, 3 p.m., at Miami-Dade County Auditorium, 2901 W. Flagler St.

Spooky Symphony is a one-hour free performance of great music for young listeners by the Alhambra Orchestra and Greater Miami Youth Symphony. Families will enjoy movie themes from Frozen, Ghostbusters, Apollo 13 and Star Wars, plus excerpts of dramatic classics such as Night on Bald Mountain, Firebird Suite and Symphonie Fantastique.

Video images will be projected behind the orchestras. Musicians and audiences are invited to come in costume to enhance the supernatural experience.

The Alhambra Orchestra and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony will be conducted by Daniel Andai and Huifang Chen. The concert is presented by The Children’s Trust and hosted by Miami-Dade County Auditorium.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. To be sure you’ll have a seat, it’s best to get your tickets in advance. Tickets are available at the MDCA theater box office, on www.Ticketmaster.com or by visiting the website at www.MiamiDadeCountyAuditorium.org.
