As the cultural heartbeat of Miami, the Miami Symphony Orchestra continues to elevate the musical landscape, and the upcoming season promises to be a testament to the orchestra’s unwavering commitment to artistic excellence.

The season’s highlights include three concerts at the Adrienne Arsht Center:
Grand Season Opening
Enjoy a fantastic evening conducted by music director and conductor Marturet, with the world premiere of Intuiciones para Contrabajo y Orquesta composed by Tulio Cremisini, a 2023 MISO commission, and featuring MISO double bass principal Luis Gomez-Imbert; the enchanting melodies of Edvard Grieg’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in A minor, Op. 16, performed by Latin Grammy winner and acclaimed pianist Kristhyan Benitez, and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88.
Glimpses of a Living Culture
Guiding this symphonic exploration is Maestro Marturet, MISO’s music director and conductor, who will perform yet another world premiere, a 2024 MISO commission by American composer Karen LeFrak with great guitarist Sharon Isbin as soloist — Miami Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra. Don’t miss this celebration of music’s power to connect us to the heart of the human experience.
