South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, and Health Channel) is thrilled to announce of host of new programs this March. As we enjoy the change of seasons, we hope you will tune into South Florida PBS to enjoy a medley of music specials sure to delight all viewers. Pop music fans will this months’ cover program Carole King & James Taylor: Just Call Out My Name, the 2010 return to the duo’s iconic performance at Los Angeles’s Troubadour. Other music specials airing this month include Culture Club: Live at Wembley, The All-New Pop, Rock & Doo Wop, Brit Floyd: 50 Years of Dark Side, and many others.
This month we honor diverse female voices for Women’s History Month, with programs such as Women of The Watershed, American Experience – The Sun Queen, Little Women on Masterpiece, and Native America – Women Rule.

Join KidVision host Miss Penny and friends at Nova Southeastern University’s Story Fest on March 3rd! Guests will enjoy free books, story time events, a petting zoo, and more. Stop by the South Florida PBS booth at South Florida Family Life’s Camp Connections event on March 3rd in Miami!
On March 7th, South Florida PBS will be partnering with The United Way of Palm Beach County and Women United to host a “Women of Impact” event at our studios in Boynton Beach. This event will focus on empowering women in the South Florida community. Guests will enjoy a pre-event reception with live music, drinks, and food while they network with a diverse group of local women.
South Florida PBS is proud to partner with the FIU Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs and the Global Indigenous Forum to bring you a special screening event of Scott Barnett’s Women of the Watershed. Join us on March 12th at 6:30PM at FIU’s MMC campus for a sneak peek of the program and an insightful talk-back on environmental issues and the Indigenous community.
