Join The City Of Coral Gables At “A Gables Fourth” Celebration And Fireworks Extravaganza

“A Gables Fourth” Celebration and Fireworks Extravaganza will take  place at the iconic Biltmore Hotel, located at 1200 Anastasia Ave. The festive, family-friendly  event, co-hosted in partnership by the City of Coral Gables and the Biltmore Hotel, will mark the  anniversary of the country’s independence with colorful fireworks displays and live music.  Grounds open at 5 p.m., the concert begins at 7 p.m., and fireworks launch at 9 p.m. General  admission is free.  

“We are thrilled to celebrate our nation’s independence as a community and look forward to welcoming everyone to this hallmark summer event set at the historic Biltmore Hotel and Golf  Course,” said Fred Couceyro, director of the Community Recreation Department. “Fourth of July  presents a special opportunity to celebrate our national pride in grand style as a community.”  

Attendees are encouraged to arrive by bike to the Biltmore Hotel. Easy, secure, and  complimentary bike valet parking is provided by Green Mobility Network from the William  H. Kerdyk Biltmore Tennis Center, 1150 Anastasia Ave. 

Limited free parking will be available beginning at 5 p.m. at Municipal Garage 4, located at 345  Andalusia Ave. and the Museum Garage at 220 Aragon Ave. Shuttle pickups will take place starting at 5 p.m. from Coral Gables City Hall and will end at 8:15 p.m. Return shuttles will  continue throughout the evening to Coral Gables City Hall. 

The intersection of Catalonia and Andalusia avenues will serve as the drop-off and pickup point  for ADA, Freebee and rideshare services.

Attendees are reminded that no pets, fireworks, weapons, grills, glass items or tents are allowed  on the grounds. Only personal size coolers (able to be carried on a rider’s lap while on the  trolley) will be permitted. Service animals are welcome. The Coral Gables Police Department  will direct traffic and reminds attendees that parking is not permitted on streets and that access  to streets near the Biltmore will be limited to residents.
