More than 15 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to a First Alarm house fire in the 19200 Block of 92nd Road on June 7 at 8:22 a.m. Upon arrival, fire crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof of the structure. Firefighters conducted a fire attack by deploying a hose line and a ladder to access the roof in order to extinguish the fire. A dog was safely rescued from the fire and reunited with its owners. There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross has been requested to assist those impacted by the fire.
