The 266,000 SF of office and warehouse space will be a main hub for the brand

The construction of the 266,000-sq.-ft., state-of-the-art industrial and retail facility for World Electric Supply, a distributor of business-to-business electrical products, solutions, and related services, is now complete.

Leading Florida construction company, Excel Construction of Florida, built out a first-generation Class A  industrial warehouse and office area into a state-of-the-art operational hub for World Electric Supply, at 10701 NW 142nd Street, Hialeah Gardens.

“We specialize in high-end industrial buildouts such as the one recently completed for World Electric Supply,” said Excel Construction of Florida President Eric Wolf. “World Electric needed to  expand its company while consolidating five smaller warehouses into one modern operational headquarters, and we were able to create this for them in Hialeah Gardens.”

Under the leadership of Project Manager Luis Caicedo and Superintendent Juancarlo Lopez, Excel Construction transformed an empty shell into a first-generation workspace that includes 12,862 sq. ft. of office space, and 253,390 sq. ft. of warehouse/packaging space. The project includes new walls, finishes, millwork, plumbing, electrical and a new HVAC.  Due to the large warehouse and operations center, Excel had to build an ultra-safe and redundant IT room to help manage and control the warehouse operations. The facility will house more than 100 employees.

“World Electric is embarking on a new chapter, and we are extremely excited to have been able to partner with Excel to accomplish our Regional Distribution Centers (RDC) vision,” said World Electric Supply President Tammy Livers.  “By having this best-in-class facility, we will be able to continue to provide the unparalleled services we’ve always offered to our customers but now on a much grander scale.”

Northwest Dade Logistics Center 1 is owned by The Easton Group. Ware Malcomb was the architect responsible for the project’s design.
