Recipe: Rosemary Hair Treatment

INGREDIENTS
• 2-3 cups of water
• 3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
• 1 tsp of virgin coconut oil
• 1 tsp of lemon juice

DIRECTIONS
1. In a one quart saucepan add water, rosemary, coconut oil and lemon juice Bring to a rapid boil for up to 1 minute. Remove from heat and cover.
2. Let steep until cool
3. Stir
4. Use a sifter to pour the treatment into jars or dispensary bottles.
5. Use right away or store in your refrigerator for no more than seven days.

APPLICATION METHOD 1
1. Drape a towel about your shoulders.
2. Using a squirt bottle (similar to a bottle used for liquid hair color) and apply directly to dry hair massaging in the treatment until all hair is saturated.
3. Brush hair thoroughly in all directions and treat yourself to a little scalp massage (scalp
stimulation supports new growth).
4. Braid or wrap hair and let sit overnight.
5. Wash and condition hair in the morning and enjoy the difference.

APPLICATION METHOD 2
1. Drape a towel about your shoulders.
2. Place a large bowl on the table and lean your head and face over it. Pour the treatment over your head using the bowl to catch the runoff.
3. Use a ladle or a measuring cup to continue to scoop the treatment from the bowl and over your head until hair is completely saturated.
4. Let the ends of your hair (where most damage exists) lay in the bowl of remaining treatment for up to 10 minutes.
5. Brush hair thoroughly in all directions and treat yourself to a little scalp massage (scalp
stimulation supports new growth).
6. Braid or wrap hair for the night.
7. Wash and condition hair in the morning and enjoy the difference.
