Celebrate Halloween season with free Spooky Symphony concert
Alhambra Orchestra joins the Greater Miami Youth Symphony for a free Halloween-themed concert.

Spooky Symphony is a 45-minute free performance of great music for young listeners by the Alhambra Orchestra and Greater Miami Youth Symphony on Friday, Oct. 25, with programs at 7 and 8:15 p.m., in the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 St. in Cutler Bay.

Families and children will enjoy thrilling themes from the franchises Spiderman, 007, Mission Impossible, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones, plus two eerie classical pieces, all played by a huge live orchestra. Video images will be projected behind the orchestra. Musicians and audiences are invited to come in costume to enhance the supernatural experience.

The Alhambra Orchestra and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony will be conducted by Daniel Andai and Huifang Chen. The performances are presented by The Children’s Trust and hosted by the Moss Center as part of its annual Halloween event, running 6-9:30 p.m., including a haunted house, treats and fun photo opportunities.

Admission is free, on a first come, first served basis. Free Tickets to the Halloween event including concert are available starting Oct. 8 at www.mosscenter.org. Bring the whole family.
