The Humane Society of Greater Miami is thrilled to host the annual Walk for the Animals, taking place on Saturday, October 5th at Margaret Pace Park from 8:30 AM to 12 PM. This exciting event promises a day of fun, community, and compassion, all while supporting homeless pets in our local area.
Join fellow animal lovers for a walk that makes a difference! All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Humane Society of Greater Miami, helping to provide essential care for homeless and neglected animals. Your participation will not only support animal welfare but also help raise awareness about the critical issues facing animals in our community.
Enjoy a variety of activities for both humans and pets, including engaging doggie games like Smarty Paws and Bobbing for Duckies, along with fun family-friendly games such as Bark Bag Toss. There will also be exciting contests, including the Doggie Costume Contest and Best Kisser competition, with chances to win fabulous prizes.
This family-friendly event will feature a fun maze, a photo zone, and creative activities like face painting and a spooky ring toss. With something for everyone, it’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy a day out while making a positive impact.
By joining the Walk for the Animals, you are not just taking a step for your health; you are taking a step towards a brighter future for animals in need. Your support helps provide food, medical care, shelter, and adoption services for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Be a voice for the voiceless! Visit our walk website at p2p.onecause.com/walkfortheanimals to register, donate, or learn more about how you can get involved.
