The Live Like Bella Foundation held its 11th annual Bean Automotive Group Bella’s Ball on Saturday, September 21st, to honor Bella Rodriguez-Torres and other families dealing with childhood cancer.

This year’s event took place at Trump National Doral, where community leaders, supporters, and friends enjoyed a night full of elegance, inspiring speeches, and a resounding feeling of hope for a better future for children dealing with cancer.

The theme of this year’s Ball, “Planting Seeds and Sewing Hope,” represented Bella’s unwavering positivity and support for others dealing with the same disease. “Bella was a beautiful little girl who during the most difficult time of her life, managed to unite our community,” said Live Like Bella CEO Nicole de Lara Puente. Guests learned how at such a young age, 10-year-old Bella changed the lives of so many people around her through small acts of kindness, like donating over 3,000 colorful children’s band aids to Miami Children’s Hospital patients undergoing treatment.

Since then, Bella’s parents, Raymond and Shannah Rodriguez-Torres, have continued her legacy helping children and families dealing with cancer across Miami. From hosting events at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, to the Bella 5k, and now the Ball, the Live Like Bella Foundation has been doing their part to fund research to find a cure and help families dealing with the disease.

Six years ago, Bean Automotive Group became the title sponsor for Bella’s Ball and has raised over $650,000 since then, allowing Live Like Bella to expand their outreach and help more families locally and nationwide.

Bean Automotive Group Dealer Principal Lori Bean was in attendance along with the Bean Team in support of Live Like Bella and their mission. “I want to extend my gratitude and give a big shout out to the team at Live Like Bella for doing such a great job putting this amazing Ball together for everyone,” said Lori. “We’re all here to support a great cause and find a cure for childhood cancer. Whether you can make it to the Ball or not, go online and show your support for this amazing foundation.”

Bean Automotive Group is all in for the local community, supporting dozens of local charities that focus on important causes close to our hearts. From helping families financially struggling to afford a safe home, to supporting the hundreds of dogs and cats available for adoption, the Bean Team is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
