Iker Belauste

JLL has announced the hiring of Iker Belauste as vice president, a significant addition to the company’s tenant representation team in South Florida. Belauste, who is making his return to JLL, will join the corporate tenant representation team to serve clients across the key markets of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Belauste’s hiring further bolsters the firm’s office brokerage team, as he will play an important role in delivering tailored real estate solutions that align with the operational and financial objectives of organizations on local, regional, and global scales. In this role, his responsibilities will include devising strategic real estate plans that address the unique needs of each client, while leveraging JLL’s extensive resources, market expertise and innovative platform.

“South Florida continues to experience growth with an ongoing influx of businesses nationwide seeking to establish or expand their presence in the region,” said Rod Barnes, JLL market director for South Florida. “With Belauste’s addition to our talented team, we are enhancing JLL’s tenant representation practice to continue delivering exceptional client service at a time when the region is outpacing other major U.S. markets in terms of office space demand, leasing activity and business growth.”

Belauste’s professional journey with JLL began in 2019 as a brokerage intern, where he quickly demonstrated his potential and commitment to the industry. During the first three years of his real estate career, he built a strong foundation in brokerage services. He then transitioned to CBRE Group, where he spent nearly two years as a senior associate.

During his tenure at CBRE, Belauste was instrumental in advising office tenants across various sectors, including technology, law, and finance. His ability to navigate complex real estate transactions and provide strategic advice has earned him recognition and respect within the industry.

Belauste’s early accomplishments, combined with his exceptional client service and deep industry knowledge, position him uniquely to advance JLL’s tenant representation services in South Florida. His addition to the team is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and the value he will add to JLL’s active tenant representation team in the South Florida market.

A Miami native, Belauste’s deep-rooted understanding of the local market is further enriched by his upbringing in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate from Chapman University in Orange, CA.

Belauste has volunteered with Shake A Leg Miami, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-enhancing experiences to individuals with physical, developmental and economic challenges, in an inclusive community setting through sailing and other water-based activities, Belauste also is involved with the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and the Future of Real Estate Miami chapter.
