A Heartwarming Transformation Through Community Effort
Our Red Vest Day event was an incredible success! Over 50 dedicated volunteers came together with a shared mission: to breathe new life into St. Alban’s Child Enrichment Center with fresh paint, vibrant landscaping, and an updated exterior. The transformation was remarkable, a true testament to the impact of community collaboration.
Thank you Lowe’s!
The teamwork, enthusiasm, and hard work on display brought everyone together for a common cause, and the impact was immediate and visible. Red Vest Day isn’t just about renovations; it’s about creating lasting change and showing our community what we can accomplish when we unite with purpose. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us in making a difference for St. Albans and the families they serve.
Impacting Generations to Come
This year’s Red Vest Day was truly the icing on the cake for St. Albans! Thanks to the generous Lowe’s Hometowns grant, we were able to address a range of critical repairs, including:
- Brand-new water fountains
- Comprehensive electrical upgrades, both interior and exterior
- Modernized bathrooms
- Better lighting on the interior and exterior
- New cabinets and countertops for classrooms and the kitchen
- Fresh flooring
- Mulching throughout the grounds
- And so much more!
These upgrades directly benefit the 90 students and 25 dedicated staff members currently enrolled—and they ensure that future generations will also have a safe, welcoming space to learn and grow. With a proud legacy of over 70 years in this community, St. Albans can now continue providing free childcare to families in need for decades to come.
