This past Saturday, November 2, Amigos For Kids hosted its highly anticipated annual fundraising event, AMIGOS NIGHT, at The Hangar in Regatta Harbor, marking a resounding success and surpassing fundraising goals. Hundreds of Miami’s top celebrities, media personalities, elected officials, and influential business and civic leaders gathered for an unforgettable evening in support of a critical cause: preventing child abuse and neglect and providing essential support to children and families.

“We are overwhelmed by the support shown at AMIGOS NIGHT,” said Karina Pavone, President and CEO of Amigos For Kids. “Thanks to our generous community, we’re able to continue funding transformative programs, from after-school enrichment to comprehensive family support, empowering families and strengthening our communities.”

Guests were treated to a culinary showcase with Miami’s top chefs and restaurants, complemented by an open bar featuring artisanal cocktails by Bacardi. The evening’s festivities included a dazzling Black Carpet event, with Miami’s biggest stars and social elite showing their solidarity with Amigos For Kids. Among the notable attendees were Venezuelan actor and singer Gabriel Coronel, Telemundo host Gloria Ordaz, and award-winning journalist and Univision Primer Impacto co-host Pamela Silva, underscoring the significance of the cause.

Entertainment reached new heights as The Clique, Miami’s high-energy band, took the stage, keeping guests dancing through the night with their dynamic performance and the lively Hora Loca. The event also featured “Domino Park,” a special area where domino enthusiasts and newcomers alike tested their skills, adding a touch of friendly competition to the night.

AMIGOS NIGHT is more than a glamorous event – it’s a testament to our community’s dedication to making a difference,” said Maggie Fresen Zulueta, Chair of the Amigos For Kids Board. “The funds raised will have a profound impact on the lives of children and families throughout South Florida.”

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of attendees and sponsors, AMIGOS NIGHT raised essential funds to sustain Amigos For Kids’ programs. Special recognition goes to our major sponsors, including presenting sponsor Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, main sponsor Bacardi, and diamond sponsors Academica and Prestige Clinical Research. Platinum sponsors such as Greenberg Traurig, Intermedia Touch, and Ford, along with gold sponsors including Banesco, Baptist Health, Goya, Larry Geller & Ingrid Hoffmann, Jorge Luis García, Ryder, and Truist, also played a pivotal role in making the event a success.

This unforgettable night exemplified the power of community in creating a brighter, safer future for children in need.
