The Doral International Art Fair (DIAF) recently celebrated its second edition with immense success, establishing itself as the premier cultural event in the city of Doral. Held from November 7 to 10 at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, the fair welcomed over 4,000 visitors to experience a vibrant fusion of art, culture, education, gastronomy, and local business in a family-friendly setting.
DIAF, organized by Executive Director Dr. Jesús Alberto Fuenmayor and his dedicated team, featured over 20 galleries, special projects, and more than 80 visual artists. From contemporary works to experimental installations, the event catered to a wide array of artistic tastes, while fostering a community environment that encourages creativity and cultural exchange. The event’s inclusivity extended to both established and emerging visual artists, reflecting DIAF’s commitment to supporting and uplifting a diverse range of talent.
The success of DIAF owes much to the valuable sponsorships and partnerships that made this year’s fair possible. The unwavering support from local organizations was instrumental in promoting art, culture, and education as key pillars of peace and social cohesion in Doral. “Your trust, commitment, and dedication inspire us to continue working on this project with enthusiasm and resolve,” expressed Dr. Fuenmayor to Manny Sarmiento, CEO of the Doral Chamber of Commerce.
DIAF strives to be a platform that not only celebrates art but also strengthens the economy and local brand recognition. With its welcoming atmosphere, it is an event accessible to everyone—from art lovers to community members and businesses alike. Thanks to the sponsors and the commitment of the community, the Doral International Art Fair is set to remain an integral part of Doral’s cultural landscape for years to come.
