The Motivational Edge is hosting a Block Party themed evening on Saturday, Feb. 8, 7-11 p.m., on its campus at 1550 NW 36 St. in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood, to celebrate 16 years of empowering underprivileged youth through the arts, education, community resource support, and mentorship.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a tour of the Edge’s studios, as well as live and deejay music, special performances and shared stories from students and teaching artists, student artworks on display, food trucks, a raffle auction, and more.
The event is free with General RSVP. VIP tickets include food and beverage. Food and beverages will be available for purchase for all guests. The event is for ages 21and older.
The community is invited to join The Motivational Edge’s anniversary celebration and learn more about the meaningful scholastic and personal impact the organization is having on youth as it nurtures dreams and shapes brighter and successful futures.
The Motivational Edge is a 501(c)(3) youth development agency that empowers underserved youth through culturally relevant arts, and sports-based programs, fostering academic achievement, self-confidence, and essential life skills. By combining creative expression with physical activity, it inspires students to engage in holistic learning experiences that promote personal growth and resilience.
Using the arts and movement as motivational platforms, The Motivational Edge provides much-needed academic support while encouraging emotional and physical well-being.
