We are pleased to introduce self-serve kiosks for renewing your license plates and printing registrations instantly!

Starting in April 2025, the Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector will be installing user-friendly, touchscreen kiosks closer to your home to simplify your vehicle registration renewal process.

Bring your renewal letter and PIN, tag number, birthdate information, and a credit card to complete the transaction in less than two minutes. It’s easy, fast, and convenient!

Available at four Publix locations across Miami-Dade:

Reminder: Get REAL ID Compliant Before May 7, 2025!

The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector urges residents to ensure they have a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card before the upcoming federal deadline.

Starting May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers will need a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification to board domestic flights and enter certain federal facilities. If your current license or ID does not have a star in the upper right corner, you may need to upgrade.

To obtain a REAL ID, visit your local Driver License Office with the required documents, including proof of identity, Social Security number, and two proofs of Florida residency. For more information visit: dhs.gov/real-id 

New Tax Collector’s Office Now Open in North Dade!

The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector is excited to announce the opening of a second Tax Collector’s Office inside the North Dade Justice Center at 15555 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami Beach. The former FLHSMV driver’s license office has been transformed into a larger, more efficient space, expanding to approximately 1,200 square feet with upgraded technology, additional staff, and enhanced services.

This office will continue to provide driver’s license services and will soon offer a full range of tax collector services, including property and business tax payments, vehicle registrations, license tags, and specialty parking permits.

This is the first of nine offices transitioning from state control to the Miami-Dade Tax Collector’s Office, expanding services to better serve our community.

La Oficina del Recaudador de Impuestos del Condado de Miami-Dade se complace en anunciar la apertura de una segunda oficina dentro del Centro de Justicia de North Dade, ubicado en 15555 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami Beach.

La antigua oficina de licencias de conducir del FLHSMV ha sido transformada en un espacio más grande y eficiente, con aproximadamente 1,200 pies cuadrados, tecnología mejorada, más personal y mejores servicios.

Esta oficina continuará ofreciendo servicios de licencias de conducir y, además, proporcionará una amplia gama de servicios del Recaudador de Impuestos, incluyendo pagos de impuestos sobre la propiedad y negocios, registros de vehículos, placas y permisos especiales de estacionamiento.
