The scholarship program recognizes students who were part of Science, Engineering, Communication, Mathematics and Enrichment (SECME) programs at their high school.

This weekend, 10 South Florida students received the surprise of a lifetime as FPL awarded them $200K in total scholarships.
Each student received the scholarship due to their academic achievements and involvement in a STEM program called science, engineering, communication, mathematics and enrichment, also known as SECME.
