Brian Ehrlich has officially qualified for the ballot in the race for Miami Beach City Commission, Group 1. The Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections verified 997 of the 1,284 petitions his campaign submitted, well above the required threshold.
Ehrlich emphasized that his path to qualification was built on grassroots effort, not political machinery.
“I didn’t run a machine. I hustled, walked block after block, and engaged in conversation after conversation,” Ehrlich said. “Doorsteps, sweat, and sunscreen are what got us here. Now it’s official: I’m on the ballot.”
Ehrlich, the only candidate in the race to qualify by petition, says his campaign is focused on bringing fresh energy, bold ideas, and practical solutions to City Hall.
“This campaign is about showing up and delivering the kind of leadership that makes Miami Beach better,” he added. “Thanks to everyone who supported us in this first step. We’re just getting started.”
The election for Miami Beach City Commission will take place on November 4, 2025.
