The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), the official destination sales and marketing organization for Miami-Dade County, recently appointed rbb Communications as its corporate communication and external affairs public relations agency of record.
In partnership with the GMCVB’s corporate communications and external affairs team, rbb will share the positive benefits of tourism promotion that support Miami-Dade’s economy as well as the GMCVB’s community engagement and outreach programs that impact Miami-Dade residents, cities and neighborhoods.
“Miami continues to evolve as a world-class destination for travel, business, and culture,” said Lisa Ross, president of rbb Communications. “Spotlighting the GMCVB, it’s “Brought to You by Tourism” campaign, and the organization’s connections to the destination’s diverse communities, we have tremendous local pride in partnering with the GMCVB to help ensure a brighter future for all county residents.”
rbb brings more than three decades of communications excellence and has represented airlines, cruise lines, destinations, hospitality brands, and tourism boards. As GMCVB’s communications partner, the agency will work closely with the GMCVB to highlight the organization’s role in economic development, community stewardship, and as a travel industry leader.
“As we advance the GMCVB’s corporate communications and external affairs strategy, we’re excited to collaborate with rbb — whose local expertise, creative energy, and strategic insight make them an ideal partner to use the power of storytelling to humanize the wide-reaching impacts of tourism,” said David Whitaker, GMCVB president and CEO.
rbb, a national integrated communications firm and six-time “Agency of the Year,” is recognized as a champion in the field of PR, digital/marketing, and creative services. rbb recently was named a 2024 Top 100 Elite Agency by PR News, is listed among PRWeek’s 2023 Top Global PR Agencies, and is among Forbes Best PR Agencies in America. Last year the agency received the “Best Of” Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America.
