READY. SET. GO! Operation Green Light

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We’re back with our 5th Operation Green Light (OGL), and our goal is clear—help as many residents as possible get back on the road legally while saving money. OGL returns Monday, October 6, 2025, through Sunday, October 19, 2025, giving Miami-Dade residents two full weeks to take advantage of this initiative. During OGL, all collection fees are waived on traffic, parking, misdemeanor and criminal court costs and fees. That means if your obligations are in collection status, you can save up to 30% off your total balance. But the benefits don’t stop there.

My office has worked tirelessly to expand services, offering payment plan options for traffic citations, misdemeanors, and criminal court costs and fees. These plans allow residents to reinstate their licenses and pay off obligations through manageable monthly payments. Operation Green Light is more than just a program—it’s a fresh start. By reducing debt and helping residents’ clear suspensions, OGL empowers families to move forward, focus on work, and take care of daily life without the financial burden of prolonged license issues.

We’ve also made some important upgrades to help residents answer questions beforehand and obtain the best option for their situation without leaving the comfort of their home (https://operationgreenlight.zendesk.com/hc/en-us). We’ve also established a “find my nearest location” option to resolve your obligations at the closest branch court location nearest you (https://www2.miamidadeclerk.gov/OGL_Courtfinder).

We’re here to help you get back on the road! Call our OGL voicemail anytime at 305-999-5363 – just leave your name, driver’s license number, and email. Prefer email? Write us at OGL@miamiadeclerk.gov with your full name, driver’s license number and phone number. Or visit us online: www.miamidadeclerk.gov/clerk/OGL.page.
