In 2025, my office launched the first-ever Miami-Dade Clerk of the Court and Comptroller Mobile App, expanding digital access to essential public services for the residents we proudly serve. Since that launch, we have listened closely to community feedback and worked intentionally to enhance the app in ways that respond to real, everyday needs. The latest upgrade introduces My Driver’s Vault, a new feature designed to help residents stay informed, organized, and proactive when it comes to traffic and parking citations.
While neither I nor my office issues traffic or parking tickets, the Clerk of the Court and Comptroller is responsible for maintaining the official court record and collecting payments on behalf of issuing agencies. Residents told us they wanted clearer, faster notification and fewer surprises—and we listened.
My Driver’s Vault allows registered users to securely upload their Florida Driver’s License and up to three vehicle license plates (auto tags) within the Clerk Mobile App. Once uploaded, the app proactively monitors Miami-Dade County records and sends push notifications if a parking or traffic citation is issued in Miami-Dade County that matches the stored information.
This feature helps eliminate missed notices, mail delays, or forgotten deadlines. With real time alerts, users can view citations in one place and take timely action—whether paying a fine, requesting a hearing, or electing traffic school—before late fees, license suspensions, or tow orders occur.
Please note: citations issued through camera enforcement systems (red light cameras, school zone cameras, etc.) are initially classified as Notices of Violation and will not appear in the app, as our office does not accept payment for those notices.
Security and privacy remain central to My Driver’s Vault. All information is accessible only to registered users and protected with strong safeguards.
The Clerk Mobile App upgrade reflects my office’s ongoing commitment to modernizing services and meeting residents where they are-on their mobile devices. We encourage residents to download the app available for free in the Apple and Android app stores, register and experience how we are making technology work better—for you.
