WHAT: PING City Putting Challenge
Edwin Watts Golf is searching for the best amateur putter in the Miami area, and will be hosting an exciting in-store putting contest throughout the week.
- Participating golfers will take five putts at a target using a PING putter equipped with an iPod Touch/iPING App
- The iPING app will analyze the putts and provide a consistency handicap score based on stroke type, impact angle & tempo
- The Top 10 qualifiers, based on the consistency score, advance to the finals
- Contest times for Qualifying:
Tuesday, March 5, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, March 6 – Friday, March 8, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Finals – Saturday, March 9, 11 a.m.
Prizes
- First 115 participants will receive an iPING Cradle
- Top 10 qualifiers will receive a PING towel & signed Louis Oosthuizen photo
- The winner will receive a custom PING Scottsdale TR Putter, and be crowned Miami’s “Best Putter!”
