The Miami Dolphins are visiting Joe Delancy Richmond Park on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. for a Dolphins Blitz.
Dolphins Blitz is a FREE opportunity for kids in the area to experience hands-on football drills while participating in other extracurricular activities associated with the Miami Dolphins. The Blitz will run simultaneously as the Richmond Giants square off against the Overtown Rattlers of the Greater Miami Pop Warner League. Prior to each game, the teams will have an opportunity to run through the inflated Miami Dolphins tunnel.
The Dolphins Blitz will have special appearances from Dolphins Cheerleaders and Alumni to take photos, sign autographs and meet and greet during the football action.
Former Miami Dolphin players Derrick Rodgers, Lorenzo Hampton, Roy Foster and Don McNeal will each make an hour-long appearance at the Blitz from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The spectators will have an opportunity to participate in the extracurricular activities prior, during and after the games, such as the Dolphins Quarterback Toss, corn hole and two interactive football drills.
