The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its 2nd Annual City National Bank Better Beach Awards on Thursday, March 27th and boy is the competition in each of the 14 award categories tough. I wanted to highlight a few of the exciting nominations we have already received for this one-of-a kind real estate awards ceremony taking place at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
The Sunset Harbor Garage has been nominated for a Better Beach Citizen Award, in the developer category, for the building’s transformation into a thriving center of business. The trendy space has welcomed new hot spots like Icebox Cafe and Panther Coffee.
Another great nomination, for Innovative Design, is the gorgeous and extravagant Miami Beach residential property located at 27 Star Island. Originally built in 1941, the Gale Hotel has been nominated for a Historic Preservation Award for their excellent job in updating the building while maintaining the structures’ one-of-a-kind look and feel.
Again, these are just a few of the amazing nominations we have received and I can’t wait to see who will win in each of these categories. This luncheon will surely sell out, with 400 to 500 people expected to attend, so please purchase your ticket in advance.
