St. Brendan High School seniors Maria Alvarez, Briana Cervantes and Katrina Rosiak are the recipients of prestigious scholarships. Alvarez is the recipient of the Ford Salute to Education Scholarship in Science: Mathematics/Computer Science. She received a $1,500 scholarship and a laptop computer. Maria will be attending the University of Florida and major in engineering. Cervantes and Rosiak were the recipients of the Burger King Scholarship and both received $1,000.
