The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, South Florida Chapter, is currently seeking individuals with various backgrounds interested in volunteering on the Aventura MS Walk committee. The MS Walk will be on Sunday, March 20th at Founders Park South, located at 3105 NE 190th Street.
Committee members will meet at least once a month from November 2011 to February 2011. It provides a great opportunity for city wide activists and Aventura residents the chance to join the movement and give back to the community.
“Committee members are not only a vital part in the success of our events and walks, but to our cause,” said Committee Chair Estrella Behar. “It’s incredibly rewarding to serve on the committee and give time and energy to fight against MS. We are currently looking for members to organize and recruit teams, seek community support, coordinate logistics and lend support in any way. No task is too small and it’s great fun, too!”
