Longtime South Florida pediatrician, Dr. Alan Swartz, has announced the opening of Kids First Pediatric Urgent Care After-Hours Walk-in Clinic — a new concept in quality child healthcare.
Inspired by the need for prompt, caring and quality care for kids at night, on weekends and holidays, KidsFirst offers immediate medical attention to children without the hassles, delays and higher costs of most hospital emergency rooms and urgent care centers.
“KidsFirst was inspired by a huge need,” Dr. Swartz said. “It’s difficult to get prompt and professional care on nights and weekends at doctor offices, labs, x-ray departments and pharmacies. At KidsFirst we aim to put you and your child at ease by providing for all of your child’s medical needs with on-site services at night, on weekends and even during the holidays.
“As a pediatrician for over 25 years in Kendall I am very excited to be providing this service to the community. Your child’s medical urgencies don’t conform to normal business hours and neither do we,” Dr. Swartz added.
Join KidsFirst and Dr. Swartz in Kendall to celebrate the official grand opening of the new after-hours clinic with a free community block party on Nov. 2. Families are invited to have a fun day, meet the staff, engage with local kid friendly organizations and enjoy a variety of kid-centered activities including: Bounce House, Rock Wall, Face Painting & Clowns, Food Trucks, Door Prizes, Free Child ID Kits (while supplies last), Clinic Tours and More.
KidsFirst is located at 13550 N. Kendall Dr. (just east of Starbucks). For more information visit online at www.KidsFirstUrgentCare.com.
