About Us

Miami’s Community Newspapers has been a trusted voice in South Florida’s local media landscape since 1958. Founded by Ron Miller as the South Dade Shopping News, the company has grown significantly over the past 50+ years to become a leading multi-media enterprise. Today, under the leadership of Publisher Grant Miller and Executive Editor Michael Miller, Miami’s Community Newspapers combines the legacy of local journalism with innovative digital content, offering a comprehensive media platform that connects, informs, and empowers Miami-Dade’s diverse communities.

Our network now includes 11 print newspapers, an engaging digital presence, and a robust video production team that creates over 45 video podcasts each week. These podcasts feature prominent local personalities and cover an array of topics that matter most to our communities, from government and business to education and the arts. In addition, we produce commercials for local businesses, helping to amplify their voices and grow their brands within the community.

As part of our commitment to fostering civic engagement, we host Meet and Greets at various local businesses across Miami-Dade County. These events provide a unique opportunity for residents to connect with influential leaders and speakers from across South Florida, fostering dialogue and engagement on the issues that impact our daily lives.

Miami’s Community Newspapers is more than just a news outlet; we are deeply woven into the fabric of South Florida. Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations, we champion the causes that matter to our readers. Whether through print, digital media, video, or in-person events, we are committed to delivering trusted, relevant news and fostering a sense of unity and pride in our community.
