Our Commitment
We are actively working to enhance the accessibility and usability of our website, podcasts, digital newsletters, and events. Our goal is to ensure that all individuals, regardless of ability, can access the information and services we provide.
Web Accessibility
We strive to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards for web content accessibility. This includes:
- Ensuring proper use of alternative text for images
- Using high-contrast color schemes
- Enabling keyboard navigation
- Providing video captions and transcripts
- Making forms and links easy to navigate
Our website is tested regularly using accessibility tools to help identify and fix issues.
In-Person Events
Community events like our Meet and Greets are held at accessible venues. We aim to:
- Provide accessible seating and restrooms
- Offer ASL interpreters upon request (with advance notice)
- Accommodate mobility devices and service animals
