SFLHCC Celebrates Sustainability Leaders at 9th Annual Sustainability Conference & Green Visionary Awards Luncheon

The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) successfully hosted its 9th Annual Sustainability Conference & Green Visionary Awards Luncheon on Friday, August 21, 2026, at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.
Under the theme “From the Everglades to the Ocean: Protecting Florida’s Environment and Public Health,” the event brought together business, environmental, healthcare, and community leaders for an engaging panel discussion focused on sustainability, environmental protection, resiliency, and public health. The discussion was moderated by Jorge Hernandez, News Anchor for Telemundo 51 and Univision Miami.
The luncheon also celebrated the 2026 SFLHCC Green Visionary Award Honorees, recognizing individuals and organizations demonstrating exceptional leadership and measurable impact in sustainability. Honorees included Seminole Classic Casino Hollywood; Lynette Cardoch, PhD of Moffatt & Nichol; Natalia Jaramillo of Miami-Dade County; Carnival Cruise Line; WM; Ori Lapidot of Omnio Concierge Home Warranty; and John Medina of Miami Curtain Wall Consultants.
