The City of Aventura’s Movie Night Returns to Founders Park this March

The City of Aventura’s first socially distanced Movie Night of the year is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Founders Park featuring the highly acclaimed, animated film “Trolls World Tour.” The park opens at 7:00 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:00 p.m.

Come join Poppy and Branch discover troll tribes devoted to different music genres and their mission to connect the tribes through diverse melodies.

Enjoy a beautiful South Florida evening with a family-friendly movie, so bring blankets and/or lawn chairs for seating. Guests are welcome to bring their own food. The City of Aventura Police Department will be selling hot dogs, water, snow-cones, and popcorn. Please note that food deliveries, alcoholic beverages and pets are not permitted in the park.

For the safety of everyone and to ensure physical distancing, attendance for the outdoor screening is limited, and each party (up to eight people) will be able to settle in one of the reserved, designated pods safely spread across the lawn. Face coverings must be worn at all times, unless you are eating or drinking, which is only allowed to take place in assigned pod. Please keep in mind, all other amenities to the park will be closed. Movie Night guests are asked to refrain from roaming around and to stay inside their pod unless they are in the line for concessions or restrooms. Additionally, the City asks families to please be sure to keep their little ones close at all times.

Pod reservations are required and can be completed online only at cityofaventura.com/ors, the City’s Online Registration System (ORS), with a valid and existing account. A pod number will be assigned at the time of the reservation. The cost is $20 per Aventura family/group pod (limited to eight people). The reservation includes a ticket for each person in the pod. Tickets will be sent to the email address provided upon completion of the pod reservation. Please allow up to 48 hours for your tickets to be emailed to you before contacting the City of Aventura. On the day of the event, each person in the pod must have their own ticket printed and physically present to enter the park. All tickets are non-transferable and cannot be duplicated. Each ticket can only be scanned once. Reservations open on Wednesday, March 8, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

To verify if you have a valid account in order to make a reservation, log in to the ORS with your credentials (email/username and password). An unsuccessful log in may indicate an invalid account, and a new account must be created. Free parking will be available at Founders Park North & South, located at 3105 NE 190th Street. Please minimize the number of cars per pod. There will be a maximum of 2 cars permitted per pod. Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early to park and get settled in prior to show time at 8:00 p.m.

Please be advised that complete details may be subject to change due to any updated safety restrictions and guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Florida Department of Health (FDOH), and Miami-Dade County. In response to the Coronavirus pandemic and the return to the new normal phases of operations, the City of Aventura’s Community Services Department carefully planned and prepared this event with guidelines to safely protect the health and welfare of the community it serves.
