FIU’s Prestige Cultural Series presents “An Afternoon Delight,” a Gourmet Food and Wine Pairing Luncheon accompanied by the FIU School of Music String Quartet.
Do not miss the last event in the series! Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC) and the School of Music present the final event in their annual Prestige Cultural Series. The Series included an “Opera Matinee,” a “Musical Theater Review,” and a lovely piano concert entitled “Czechoslovakian Spring.” Our March 21st event, “An Afternoon Affair,” promises to be the best in the series.
Please save the date and call for tickets as soon as possible. In addition to featuring FIU’s School of Music, the event is a collaboration with the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism and Management. Students plan, create, and serve a 3-course gourmet lunch while patrons enjoy a performance by FIU’s Graduate String Quartet, under the direction of Professor Marcia Littley. This event will take place March 21, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Kovens Conference Center, 3000 NE 151 Street, North Miami, FL 33181.
