At the recent 3rd annual Allice Cup played in Naples, Florida, Aventura’s Bold Nation soccer teams participated. The “Under 10” team won two of three games and wasn’t able to advance to the finals, but the “Under 15” team not only advanced to the finals, but
defeated Coral Estates S.C. South Miami 1 -0 to become this year’s champions.
Tatiana Caluby, mother of Francisco Caluby who was elected tournament Most Valuable Player, said, “I’m very proud of our boys’ achievement. They put lots of effort, dedication and played as a united team. These are lessons they will keep for the rest of their lives. Thiago Figueiredo , parent of Matteo Figueiadded, “This is a resilient team—they pushed hard until the last minute…never giving up. Some of these boys have been playing together for a few years, and they certainly show what a team with passion and dedication is able to achieve.” Sandra Resler, mother of Eitan Resler, said, “I’m so proud of this team. They have demonstrated strong passion and talent to develop as winners. They have strived by hard work, consistence and dedication.
